Bunkyo Plum Blossom Festival

Held annually from early February to early March at Yushima Tenmangu Shrine, which enshrines Michizane Sugawara, this festival is one of the five great flower festivals in the Bunkyo area. The venue features approximately 200 plum trees, primarily white plums, and various events are held throughout the festival period. After sunset, the trees are illuminated in an event called "Yakambai," allowing you to enjoy a different atmosphere from the daytime.

Bunkyo Cherry Blossom Festival

This festival, one of the five great flower festivals of Bunkyo area, has been held at the Harimazaka Sakura Namiki since 1971. Approximately 120 cherry trees, primarily Somei-Yoshino, are planted here, and you can also see rare cherry blossoms like the pale yellow-green, double-flowered Ukon cherry. During the festival period, one weekend is designated for pedestrian use of the road, with performances by brass bands and stalls run by local community associations. In the evenings, the cherry-lined path is illuminated by lanterns, allowing you to enjoy the night cherry blossoms.

Koishikawa Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens - Long Autumn Nights

This special nighttime event at Koishikawa Korakuen is titled "Koishikawa Korakuen on a Long Autumn Night. (Special Nighttime Opening)" The event features illuminated lights, projection mapping tracing the history of the garden, and the sale of food and drinks. Additionally, on Sunday, October 6th, a one-day-only "Floating Lantern" event will be held, creating a magical atmosphere. Enjoy the enchanting night scenery of the Japanese garden!

Rikugien Garden Autumn Leaves Night Viewing

This is a special night viewing event at Rikugien Garden, one of Tokyo's most famous spots for autumn Leaves. Visitors can enjoy the illuminated garden adorned with colorful autumn leaves and projection mapping on the walls of the traditional storehouses.The event also plans to offer various other attractions, including light refreshments and souvenir sales. Please come and experience the garden's unique nighttime ambiance.

Bunkyo City Higo Hosokawa Garden Autumn Leaves Light Up "Light of Higo"

At Higo Hosokawa Garden, a historical site linked to theKumamoto Domain, you can enjoy beautiful autumn foliageilluminated by lights. Various events related to KumamotoPrefecture will also be held, including a performance of theYamaga Lantern Dance on November 29 and 30.
